Vera Toland

Vera May Toland, age 82, of Terrell passed away on Friday afternoon, December 25th, 2020. Vera was born on April 24th, 1938 in Kaufman, Texas, the daughter of Theodore Smith and Jessie Shurm. Vera May Smith married Joseph Toland in Terrell, Texas on January 9th, 1980.

Vera is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughters, Lana McCoy and husband Roy, Verica Harris and husband Paul, Brenda Klutts and husband James, and Tammy Soto; sons, Raymond Toland, and Joe M Toland and wife Chaisty; stepdaughters, Cindy Thomas, and Odessa Chancllar; 31 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; along with numerous friends and family.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Jessie; son, Windell Toland; stepson, Clint Toland; stepdaughters, Nancy Hite and Julie Samples; grandson, Bobby Toland; and great-granddaughter, Lila Marie Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28th, 2020 from 6-8 pm in Goggans Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Goggans Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Morrow Chapel Cemetery – Ola, Texas.
