Kayla Schultz

Kayla Camille Schultz, age 50, of Van passed away on Wednesday, November 26th, 2020. Kayla was born on November 2nd, 1970 at Garland Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Danny Joe Dudley and Vicki Louise Pitts Dudley. In high school, Kayla played tennis, danced with the Gold Jackets drill team, and was on the newspaper. She was known for her love of swimming, and her extraordinary skiing and roller-skating skills. Kayla completed high school with Who’s Who in the graduating class of 1989 and would go on to attended Texas A&M-Galveston. She also attended New Life Tabernacle in Dallas. Kayla Camille Dudley married Robert Michael Schultz in Rockwall, Texas on March 7th, 2018. Kayla will always be remembered with an enchanting smile and a sweet disposition.

Kayla is survived by her husband, Robert; mother, Vicki; sister, Texie Toye Edwards of Pottsboro; grandmothers, Billie Pitts of McKinney, and Texie Dudley of Garland; uncle, Charles Jr and wife Dianna of Tishamingo, OK; aunts, Terry Jane and husband Ron Saulter of Van Alstyne, and Dianna; along with several cousins, numerous friends, and extended family.

Kayla was preceded in death by her father, Dan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm in Goggans Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Chisholm Cemetery.
