Guy Edward Prestridge, 62, of Terrell, Texas passed away in Terrell, TX on October 5, 2019. He was born in Dallas, Texas on February 12, 1957 the son of Marvin Whitfield Prestridge, Jr. and Frances Hoffman Prestridge. Guy married Kimberly Blankenship on December 24, 1995 in Tarrant County. He worked in irrigation installation.
Those left to cherish Guy's memory are his wife, Kim Prestridge; sons, Dustin Prestridge and wife Julissa of Washington and, Anthony Blankenship of Dallas; daughter, Aubri Prestridge of Terrell; brothers, Marvin Prestridge III and wife Linda of Forney, Aubrey Prestridge and wife Samantha of Louisiana, Johnnie Prestridge of Balch Springs, Shawn Prestridge and wife Jennifer of Frisco; sisters, Yvette Gunter and husband Frank of Richardson, Doobie Lewis and husband Garry; nieces, Christine Butler and husband Hilton of Farmersville and, Jessica Dahlgren and husband Brad of Lewisville; nephews Zoltan Prestridge and wife Shelly of Oklahoma City and, Marvin Prestridge IV and wife Rebecca of Melissa; numerous other nieces and nephews; best friend, Eric Guyton of Terrell.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents; Grandparents, Marvin Prestridge, Sr. and Bessie Prestridge and Aubrey and Tina Hoffman.
The family suggests donations be made to St. Jude's children's research hospital.
