Gumersindo Munoz

January 13, 1959 — September 6, 2021

Gumersindo Muñoz was born January 13, 1959 to Lorenza Herrera and Jesus Muñoz, both of whom preceded him in death.

Gume lost his fight to Covid, September 6, 2021. He joins his beloved wife Kathy, his siblings Felipe, Juana, Simon and Jesus.

Gume leaves behind son, Marcus Muñoz and his wife, Kayla; daughters: Candice, Marenda and Christle Muñoz; his cherished grandchildren, Marissa, Joslyn, Elijah, Juan, Madison, Marcus Jr, Esmeralda, Ava, Eriyanna, Natalie, Jaxson and a new baby on the way. Gume is also survived by his siblings, Lydia, Selsa, Carmen, Lorenzo, Edolina and Sylvia.

All who knew Gume, knew he was a family man that loved the Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Fishing and going to the Casino with the love of his life. He  loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. When Gume called anyone, the first thing he would say is "what you cooking?" He loved to eat and hangout with the people that he loved. Gume had one of the biggest hearts, he would do anything he could to help his family. He will be truly missed by so many; he was taken from us too soon. We know he is finally reunited with his true love.

A celebration of Gume’s life will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Goggan’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to service time on Sunday. Please send all memorials and flowers to Goggan’s Funeral Home.
