Emily Baldwin

Emily Deloris Baldwin (Davis), age 71, of Rockwall, passed away October 8, 2021. The family will be holding a celebration of life on Sunday, October 24th from 3-6 pm at their home.

Deloris was born in Gilmer, Texas on October 30, 1949. She was one of 11 children born to Howard and Emily Davis. She worked many jobs when she finally moved to the Dallas area including phone operator, secretary and even started her own business doing nails.

Deloris was an avid reader and had a huge collection of books until she received her Kindle. She also loved crafting from handmade cards to jewelry.

Deloris is survived by her son, Mike and his wife Shelly Baldwin, of Royse City, Texas;her granddaughter, Monica Baldwin of Rockwall, Texas; her sister Winnie Bennett of Jacksonville, TX; brothers Alton and Raymond Davis of Gilmer, Tx; sister Linda White of Greenville, TX ; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Bula Skinner; sister Dorothy Boren; brother Johnnie Davis; brother William Davis; sister Betty Ruth Kracher; and brother Jacky Davis.
