Willie Reeder

Willie Owen Reeder, 96 of Forney, passed away on September 7, 2010. Willie was born on February 19, 1914 in Garrett, the son of William Mack and Sadie Rebecca (Mask) Reeder. He married Juanita Evelyn Hickson on October 25, 1947 in Mesquite. He was a cotton farmer in Forney since 1942 when he moved from McKinney. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Forney. Mr. Reeder is survived by his wife, Juanita Evelyn Reeder; three daughters, Patricia Cates and husband Jerry of Eustace, Susan Clark and husband Ray of Forney, and Sally Richmond and husband Michael of Forney; one son, James Owen Reeder of Forney; one brother, William Dub Reeder; four sisters, Mary Shipley of Waco, Margie Buchanan and husband W. H. of Trenton, Frances McLeod of Deer Park, and Gladys Wilborn of Farmersville; seven grandchildren, Michael Cates and wife Jodie, Shana Pitchford and husband Darrell, Bryan Clark, Candy Mann and husband Rennie, Cody Richmond and wife Jammi, Amber Finley and husband Chris, and Beau Reeder and wife Christi; 14 great grandchildren, Abbie, Sadie and Cooper Cates, Casey and Gracey Pitchford, Kelsey Clark, Gunner, Ty and Berkeley Mann, Emma and Anistyn Finley, Newt Richmond, Paige Brooks, and Laila Reeder; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tommy Reeder; great grandchildren, Travis Cates and Calley Pitchford; three brothers and four sisters.
