Dorsene “DeeDee” Clem, age 74 of Terrell, passed away December 13, 2023.

Dorsene was born in Lamesa Texas on July 25, 1949. She was the youngest of two children of W. D. and Mary Brothers. The family moved from West Texas to the Terrell area when she was young. She married Jimmy Dale Clem on November 17, 1967 and they had two children together. When the children were elementary age, she went back to school and received an LVN degree. She then worked as an LVN at a local hospital while pursuing an RN degree. She worked for many years at various nursing homes as a Director of Nurses and ultimately retired.

Dorsene enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting. She made many gifts for her loved ones over the years. She loved spending holidays with family and spoiling her grandchildren. She was famous with her grandchildren for her french toast.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie Schultz and husband, Joe of Terrell, TX; son, Jason Clem and wife, Loretta of Terrell TX; grandchildren, Dylan Clem and Allissa of Quinlan, TX; Jordan Schultz of Quinlan, TX; Savannah Morgan and husband Hunter of Killeen, TX; Logan Schultz of Terrell, TX; Madison Wulff of Colorado Springs, CO; Ethan Wulff of Terrell, TX; great grandchildren, Kreed Clem and Iris Morgan and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Darwin Brothers and Mary Doris (Peterson) Brothers of Terrell, TX and her brother, Henry Jay Brothers of Wesley Chapel, FL.

Services will be held at Faith Temple Baptist Church, 11214 FM 1565 Terrell TX 75160 on Friday December 22, 2023 at 11:00 am with lunch to follow in Fellowship Hall.
