Virginia Gann

Virginia Fay Gann, 90, of Terrell, passed away Saturday Morning, December 26, 2009 at Country View Health and Rehabilitation. Virginia was born on November 25, 1919 in Annona, the daughter of Eldridge Foster and Dora Lillian (Mc Gill) Fleming. She married Herbert Dillard Gann who precedes her in death. Virginia had worked many years for Country View Health and Rehabilitation before her retirement and she was of the Baptist Faith and a very devoted Christian. Family members who are cherishing the memories of Virginias life are her sons, Byron Gaines of Seattle, WA and Eddie Gaines and his wife Brenda of Garland; her brother T. Dick Fleming of Clinton, MO; a special niece, Wanda Gann Sikes and her husband Al of Terrell; grandchildren, Ashley M. Gaines, Adam Gaines, Megan Gaines, and Erin Gaines; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Virginia is also preceded in her death by her parents and one brother, Eldridge G. Fleming. Her graveside service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, www.goggansfh.com, will be Friday, January 15, meeting at the funeral home at 11:00 am to go to Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Kaufman.
