Sandra Louise Walker

Sandra Louise Walker, 73 of Forney, TX passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.  Sandra had a passion for her friends and family.  She believed in working hard and making a mark on her own life and others. Sandra’s achievements and finest award was being a dedicated employee of 30 years with Southwestern Bell.  One of Sandra’s proudest moments was being the first black woman to work at Prudential Insurance.

     Sandra had a lighthearted spirit and was known for being a Jokester with her friends and family. One of the favorite memories of her was one of that her being a Daredevil and driving a stationwagon backwards.  Sandra enjoyed being outdoors and  had several things that she loved to do. Her hobbies were to go fishing, camping, dancing and she loved music.

     Those left to cherish Sandra’s memory are her sisters and brothers with a host of nieces and nephews.  Her surviving family members are her sisters Linda Walker, Patricia Walker, Marie Mayberry, Gwen Walker, Denise Youngblood, Gloria Walker and  Sandra’s brothers Earl and Ray Walker.

     Sandra was proceeded in death by her father Louis Walker; her mother Evola Walker; Sandra’s brothers Glenn Walker, Kerry Walker, Richard Walker and Keith Walker.

Sandra Walker will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the countless memories shared by those fortunate enough to know her.

Services for Sandra Walker will be scheduled at a later date in Houston, TX.
