Sammy Mize

Sammy Allen Mize, 58, of Terrell, passed away Tuesday morning, December 29, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Sammy was born on July 1, 1951 in Cisco, the son of Sam B. Mize, Jr. and Margaret Aleene (Marsh) Mize. He married Cherie Marsh on August 19, 1994 in Terrell. Sammy was a millwright welder. Family members who are cherishing the memories of Sammys life are his wife; his children, Shana Deann Mize Angeles and her husband Fernando of Hurst, Eric Nicolas Mize of Arlington, Desiree A. Marsh-Tapp and her husband Justin of Royse City, and Lisa Rose Marsh of Terrell; three grandchildren, Charles, Zoe, and Hunter; one great grandchild Nathan; two sisters, Kay and Debra Tyrone; two brothers, Bobby Tyrone and Ronnie Mize; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sammy is preceded in his death by his parents and two sons, Jason Samuel Mize and Nathan Isaac Mize. Arrangements have been made through Goggans Funeral Home, www.goggansfh.com.
