Ronald Gene High, 66 of Terrell, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Kaufman Texas. Ronald was born on September 15, 1948 to Charles and Leta High in Terrell, Texas. Ronald would meet and marry Hellen Pineda. She would be the love of his life for over forty-seven years. Ronald would work for most of his professional life as a subcontractor in construction. He was the definitive "Mr. Fix-it". There was nothing he could not modify, build or repair. He mastered many skills and was proficient at many trades. But his greatest and favorite job was "Mr. Mom". Ronald was very involved in raising and training his children. He loved his family and wanted the best for each one of them. He not only fathered his own; but was known as " father" and "grandfather" by many who knew and loved him. His open heart and generous spirit made him open to any and all who needed or wanted that helping hand or gentle word of advise or encouragement. His is a loving heart that will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leta High; daughter, Stacy High; sons, Heath High and Jacob Nunez; grandchildren, Stephanie Nunez, Adrian Nunez and Roy Cadenas II. Those left to cherish his life and love his memory include his wife Hellen High; daughters, Yolande Hamm, Bridget Kelly; grandchildren; Autumn High, Danielle High, Dylan Attaway, Victoria Campbell and her husband Brian, Jessica Young and her husband Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Logan Combs, Kaleel Combs, Lana Combs; sisters, Jacqueline Horn, Chandra Medrano and her husband Mick; brother, Stephen High; extended family including, Felicia Valdez, Margie Pineda and her son Chris, Virginia, Christine and Michael Estrada, Arthur Estrada and his wife Angela; as well as numerous friends and neighbors. A celebration of Ronald's life is be scheduled at a later date.
