Duane Stewart, 78, of Terrell passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 in Dallas. Family visitation will be 3:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, November 6, 2015 At Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell. Robert Duane Stewart was born July 15, 1937 in Cumby, Texas to S.E. Stewart and Annie Neal Stewart. He graduated from Boyd High School in 1957 and wanted to serve his country so he joined the United States Marine Corps. He married Joanne Bennett August 20, 1982. Later he worked and retired from the Terrell State Hospital as HVAC maintenance. Duane is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Joanne Stewart; daughters Catherine Stewart and her husband Kenneth Brown of Mesquite and Yvonne Stewart of Forney; sister Dahlia Money of Moreno Valley, CA; brother Jack Stewart of Kaufman; grandson Matthew Bennett of Carrollton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Dalton Stewart and Gary Stewart.
