Robert Ashley III

Robert Lee Ashley III, 59, of Van, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Robert was born in Texarkana, Texas on September 16, 1957 to Robert Lee, Jr and Martha Lee (Cupples) Ashley. Robert married Joyce Blagburn on August 16, 1979 in Sherman, Texas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce; daughters, Jamie Blagburn, Carrie Thomas and husband Clint; son, Caleb Ashley and wife April; grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam, Chloe, Melanie, Jacob; sisters, Elizabeth Campbell and husband Tim, Tinkie Davidson and husband John.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two aunts and an uncle.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Canton. Address is: 12480 TX Hwy 19.
