Risa Adam

Risa Marcel Adam, 48, of Forney, went on to her heavenly Father January 1, 2011. She was born in Dallas on August 15, 1962, the daughter of Brooksy and Betty Geneva (Nichols) Roland. On July 18, 1981Risa married Michael Wayne Adam, and was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Forney. She is preceded in death by her parents. Risa is survived by her husband, Michael; two children, Tiffany Brooke Adam and Michael Lane Adam both of Forney; three brothers, Richard Brooks Roland and his wife Kathy, Russell Scott Roland and his wife Karen, and Robert Lane Roland all of Forney; aunt Ruby Lewis and her husband O. J. of Forney; uncle, Edward Nichols and his wife Anne of Paris, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Forney with Dr. Jerry Griffin officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney. Visitation with her family is Monday night, January 3, 2011, from 6 to 8 pm at First Baptist Church of Forney.
