Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on August 19, 2021 at 8:45 A.M. in lane 1 with Son in-law, Scott Hill of Greenville, Texas officiating. The family extends an open welcome for all to join. Ray Neal passed away August 13, 2021. Ray was born May 24, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Creed Alonzo and Pauline Neal.

He retired from the United States Airforce in 1971 with 20 years of dedicated Service. Ray received his third Oak Leave Cluster to the Air Medal for Meritorious service while assigned as a B-52 Defensive Fire Control System Technician. After retiring, he moved his family to Terrell, Texas and started working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. Ray loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing Golf with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his commitment to country, his kindness, and integrity. He will be missed and remembered with love by all that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frances of 68 years; son, Danny Neal and wife, Samantha Alexander of Elmo, Texas; Daughter, Tonya Bieda and husband, James Bieda of Carrollton Texas; Daughter, Tina Hill and husband, Scott Hill of Greenville, Texas; Brother, Reese Neal of Mountain Lake Terrace, Washington; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Christopher Ryan Neal, grandson, preceded Ray in death.
