Otis Hanby

Otis Ralph Hanby, 75 of Terrell, passed away on September 10, 2010. Otis was born on December 2, 1934 in Dallas, the son of Raymond and Nona Belle (Rhodes) Hanby. He married Beverly Sue Duke. He was an electronics designer for EL Marsden Wireless before his retiring. Those left to cherish the memory of his life are his wife, Beverly Sue Hanby; his children, Terrance Terry Hanby and wife Sharron of Terrell, Michael Hanby of Tucson, AZ, Otis Hanby and wife Dawn of Tucson, AZ, William Wick of Temple, Donavon Wick of Lubbock, Michael Wick of Garland, and Keri Nation of Forney; sister, Mary Sue Shoaff and husband Jerry of Cumby; 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Hanby. His memorial service, under the direction of College Mound United Methodist Church, will be Saturday, September 18 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to either the American Cancer Society or to College Mound United Methodist Church.
