Myrna Davis

Myrna Davis, 78, of Kaufman passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her residence. Graveside service will be 10:00am Saturday, July 2, at College Mound Cemetery with Dennis Diltz officiating under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be 5:00pm until 7:00pm Friday at Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell.

Myrna was born December 11, 1937 in Weatherford, Texas to Ralph Mayfield and Iris Crocker Mayfield. She worked for Texas Power and Light until retirement. Myrna married Frank Davis June 17, 1992 in Jefferson, Texas. She had a contagious smile and personality, and will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband 24 years Frank Davis of Kaufman; son Michael Baker of Odessa; Donna Rogers and husband Joe of Lewisville; grandchildren Jennifer Herring and husband Nathan; Jessica Rogers, Ginger Rogers, and Allison Rogers; great grandchildren Aidan Herring, Ember Herring, and Teagan Herring. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents.

The Davis family would like to extended a special Thank You to the nurses from American Hospice in Terrell that provided exceptional and loving care for Myrna.

The Davis family also has a request, to help celebrate Myrna's life they are asking that "No Black Attire" be worn to the funeral.
