Mildred Maxwell

Mildred Wilmeth Maxwell, 86, passed away April 22, 2011 in Kaufman. She was born February 13, 1925 in Okemah, OK, the daughter of Lorenzo Lafayette and Bonnie Ethel (Reedy) Lewis. Mildred married Lenal Walton Maxwell on October 13, 1941. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist church in Terrell. She is survived by her husband; two children, Gary Maxwell and his wife Winnie of Crandall and Bonnie Reichel and her husband Cliff of Terrell; four grandchildren, Tracy, Alelia, Jennifer, and Jeremy; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillie Mae Anderson and her husband Vernon of Checotah, OK and Flora Ann Kelley and her husband John Ed of Boynton, OK; one brother James Smith and his wife Katy of Oktaha, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Delane Maxwell; sisters, Audrey Bobo, Bobbie Hayes, and Pauline Jones. Her funeral service is planned for Tuesday, April 26 at 11 am in the chapel of Goggans Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Griffin officiating. Her burial will follow the service in Highland Memorial Gardens in Terrell. Visitation with the family is planned for Monday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
