Martha J. Simmons

Martha J. Simmons, a Certified Nursing Assistant known for her kindness and caring nature, passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 74. Martha was born on April 11, 1949, in Tucson, Arizona to Ellen M. and Paul E. Reeves Sr.  And on August 19, 1972 she married Joseph Paul Simmons in Woodland Park, Colorado.

Martha will be remembered fondly for her dedication to her family and her career. Throughout her life, she found immense joy in spending time with her loved ones. Whether it was family gatherings or simple moments of togetherness, Martha cherished every second she had with her family. Her presence brought warmth and love into their lives.

Martha's career as a Certified Nursing Assistant was a testament to her compassionate nature. She devoted herself selflessly to taking care of others and making a difference in their lives. Her patients always held a special place in her heart, and she went above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Martha's gentle touch provided comfort during challenging times, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for.

Outside of work and family life, Martha possessed an unwavering passion for rooting for the Denver Broncos. She was an avid sports enthusiast who found excitement and camaraderie in following her favorite team. Through victories and defeats, Martha remained a dedicated fan who demonstrated tremendous loyalty to the Denver Broncos.

Martha J. Simmons was more than just a loving wife, nurturing mother, doting grandmother, and caring sister; she was also an extraordinary friend to many. Her inner circle can attest that she always had an empathetic ear ready to listen and offer unwavering support through both joyful milestones and trying times.

Her passing leaves behind a profound void that will be felt deeply by those who knew her best. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph Simmons; her adoring children Traci Holle and Michael Simmons; her cherished grandson Alaric Erhard; as well as her sister Sandi Gascoigne and brother Paul Reeves Jr.

Martha's memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her surviving family and friends. Though our grief may be overwhelming, it is important to remember the beautiful moments shared with Martha throughout her life. She lived a life built on kindness, love, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
