Martha Mae St. Ama, 75, of Terrell, passed away on April 11, 2010. She was born on December 27, 1934 in Dallas, the daughter of Earl Leslie Leatherwood, Sr. and Ruby (Haynes) Leatherwood. She married Luther Derrell St. Ama, Sr. in Dallas on May 19, 1952. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God Faith. Martha is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Fleming and her husband Floyd of Terrell, Connie L. Ferguson of Atoka, Oklahoma, Bonnie E. Merchant and her husband Michael W. of Terrell, Luther Derrell St. Ama, Jr. of Terrell, William Thomas St. Ama and his wife Kimberly A. of Terrell; sister, Louise James of Quinlan; brother, Johnny William St. Ama of Ben Brook; 11 grandchildren, Derrell E. Hall, Christina Cobern, Michael William Tomlinson, Richard Porter, Amanda Porter, Edward Cantisano, Andy St. Ama, Leslie St. Ama, Chance Merchant, Mandy Fleming. And Christina Fleming; 14 great grandchildren, Richard, Devin, Brooklyn, B. J., Xavier, Brandi T., Avery, Brandi H., Eddie, Christopher, Stormy, Tylar, Chelsea, and Courtney; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and brother, Earl Leslie Leatherwood, Jr. Her graveside service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, will be Friday, April 23 at 3:00 PM in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Terrell, Texas.
