Lois Eskue

Lois Eskue, née Singleton, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, in Terrell, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on September 10, 1950, in Quinlan, Texas, she lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a deep devotion to her family.

Lois will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffery Eskue and Chris Eskue, and her grandchildren, Emily Eskue and Chance Thompson. She was a cherished sister to Roy Singleton, Mareda Varner, Billy Singleton, and Joyce Jones. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, all of whom carry fond memories of the times spent in her caring presence.

Lois's early years were shaped by her upbringing in Quinlan, surrounded by her parents, Robert and Florence Singleton. Though both have since passed, along with her brothers Ray, Bobby, and Joe Bill Singleton, her husband Billy Mack, her son Stephen Keith Elliott, her nephew Lee Singleton, her nephew Wesley Singleton, and her granddaughter Tosha Elliott, their memories and influence remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Known for her lively spirit, Lois found great joy in dancing, playing cards, listening to music, enjoying videos, and sharing memorable "girls' nights out" with friends. Her sense of fun and the way she brought people together through these activities became a hallmark of her relationships.
