Lobdell Percy Brown Jr

Lobdell Percy Brown Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at Sunflower Park Nursing Home, Kaufman, TX.

Percy was born on March 30th, 1936 in Monroe, LA to Lobdell Percy and Ella Faye (Stancil) Brown. Percy served in the military and was a succesful and well-respected flooring salesman well into his 80's. Percy graduated in business administration from Louisiana Tech University in 1958 and was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity and he played halfback on the football team.

He is survived by his son, Lobdell P. Brown III and wife, Gina, of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren Isabelle Brown, Leslie Brown, and great grandson, Levi Verbeck.

Besides his parents, Percy was preceded in death by Marcie Shaw and his son, Carr William Brown.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Percy's honor to the American Heart Association. The online register can be signed at www.goggansfh.com.
