Lillie Baker

Lillie Moore Baker, 80, of Forney, passed away on May 19, 2012 in Plano. She was born March 7, 1932 in Caldwell, the daughter of Robert and Annie (Vavra) Vavra. She married Huey P. Moore, Jr. on September 1, 1951 in St. Martins Catholic Church in Talty. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Moore Cade and her husband Jim of Forney; grandchildren, Dawn Woodruff and husband Scott of McKinney, Deanna Senn and husband Chad of Fairview, Daniel Brummett of Forney, and David Brummett of Forney; great grandchildren, Gavin Brummett, Kailey Senn, Presley Senn, Layton Woodruff, Cason Woodruff, Luke Brummett, and Hudson Senn; sisters, Margaret Tucker and Janie Burnett and her husband Max; brother, Mickey Vavra and his wife Dianne; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Lillie is preceded in her death by her parents, Robert and Annie Vavra; husbands, Huey P Moore, Jr. and Bill Baker; son, Rob Moore; daughter, Tracy Moore; sister Annie Patsy Moye; and brothers, Searcy Vavra and BJ Vavra. Her service will be Thursday, May 24, at10:00 am at St. Martins Catholic Church in Talty, with Father Duffy officiating. Burial will follow the service in Campground Cemetery in Poetry. Visitation with the family will be at St. Martins Catholic Church at 6:00 pm Wednesday night with Rosary starting at 7:00 pm. All arrangements were made through Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell.
