Letha Kinsey

Letha (Raines) Kinsey, 84, resident of Terrell, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at her home. Letha was born on October 10, 1925 in Bennington, Oklahoma the daughter of Willard and Bertha (Stowe) Raines. She was married to Winfred Amon Kinsey on August 25, 1943 in Atoka, Oklahoma. Letha and Winford moved to the Terrell community in 1972. She was preceded in her death by her loving husband, parents, three sisters, and one brother. Letha was Baptist in her faith. Her family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are children, Linda Hughes and husband Mack of Terrell, Sharon Martin and husband Steven of Kemp, Rhonda Williams of Paragould, Ark., Butch Kinsey and wife Peggy of Ables Springs, Allen Kinsey of Terrell, Alfred Kinsey of Terrell, Jacquita Turner of Terrell, David Kinsey and wife Elanor of Memphis, Tenn., and Harlan Kinsey and wife Sandy of Ridgeville, Ohio; one brother, John Paul Raines and wife Lorene of Ceevee; 32 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a multitude of friends. Her funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home (www.goggansfh.com), will be Friday, February 26, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Doctor Jerry Griffin officiating. Her burial will follow the service at Canton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
