Leon Pickens

Leon Pickens, 76, of Terrell, Texas passed away in Dallas, TX on September 18, 2019. He was born in Terrell, Texas on December 26, 1942 the son of Homer Leon Pickens, Sr. and Enar Pauline Smith. Leon married Ida Mae McBride in June of 2009 in Wills Point, Texas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra whom he married January 6, 1962 in Terrell, Texas. He was a retired sheet metal worker, CNC operator and, welder.

Those left to cherish Leon's memory are his wife, Ida Mae; children, Debby Troy and husband Brian Chilson, Kelly Pickens and, Kim Jeffreys; grandchildren, Andrea Piche, Courtney Newberry, Keri Pickens, Thomas Pickens, Brooklyn Jeffreys, Keegan Jeffreys and, Dustin Hessel; great-grandchildren, Geoff, Loralai, Sandy, Hayden and, Max; sister, Linda Johnson; sister-in-law, Linda Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Geoffrey Troy.
