Leah Peters

Leah Ruth Chandler Peters, 40, of Sulphur Springs formerly of Terrell, went on to her heavenly Father December 20, 2010. She was born on May 24, 1970 in Terrell, the daughter of Glen Joe and Nellie Ruth (Harris) Chandler. She married William Mark Peters on August 27, 1991 in Elmo. She was a loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents. Leah is survived by her husband, Mark Peters; two sons, Gregory York, III and his wife Brooke of Sulphur Springs and Joel Wayne York and his wife Shayna of Miller Grove; her loving grandchildren, Briley Paige York and Michael Cody Damon York; two sisters, Diann Marical and her husband Alvie of Alba and Karen Soto of Terrell; one brother, Joel A. Chandler and his wife Lettie of Terrell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation with her family will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Her arrangements were made under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell.
