John Lynard

Memorial service for John Charles Lynard, age 63, of Forney, TX, will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2:00P.M. at Goggans Funeral Chapel in Terrell, TX. Mr. Lynard passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

John was born on March 26, 1958 in Yoakum, TX to Larry W. Jernigin and Opal Jernigin. He married Jackie Lynard on October 11, 2006 in Destin, FL. He loved to hunt and would make a trip each year to Kansas to hunt with his cousin Scott. He worked in the computer field, and was very much respected by his Coworkers, and in fact saw them more as “friends” than coworkers. He was a wonderful husband, and father to his daughters as well as his stepchildren. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them about birds, and watching nature shows together

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Lynard; daughters, Stephanie Bither and Jennifer Lynard; stepchildren, Mercedes Clardy, Amanda Mixon and Jordan O’Brien; grandchildren, Jayce, Judah, Trace and Cadence Clardy.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Opal.
