Joann Deborah Pitts

Joann Deborah Pitts, 70 years of age, passed away on May 17, 2025, in Rockwall, TX. She was born in Baltimore, MD to Robert and Janet Lowery on April 18, 1955. Joann was a high school graduate who loved being a stay-at-home mom and being a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family. Her proudest moments were having her kids and grandchildren.

Joann was a free-spirited person and loved the outdoors, her hobbies were going to the lake, going fishing, camping and she loved gardening. She also loved listening to music, especially rock-n-roll. Joann enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, she would love to do their hair and makeup. She also liked to do indoor activities such as cooking and working on crafts.

Joann was survived by her daughter Melissa Thacker, Grandson Brandon Forbes and his wife Sarah and children Jedidiah and Fayln Forbes; her Granddaughter Dakota Thacker and her sons Ryder and Archer Wilkins; and Grandson Kolton Thacker.

Joann was proceeded in death by her daughter Corina Pitts.
