Gerald D. Jerry Beavers , 82, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on January 5, 2019, in Wichita Falls, TX.
He was born on February 6, 1936 the son of James Alvin Beavers and Willie Marie York in Terrell, TX. He married Barbara Karr in 1955, she preceded him in death in 1996. He married Bettye Sue Keown in 1997. He retired from Madix after 20 plus years of employment.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Bettye Beavers of Wichita Falls, TX; daughter, Connie Marie Vollmer of Flint, TX; sons, James Douglas Beavers and wife Stacy of Clover, SC, Jack Alexander Beavers and wife Lynn of Kemp, TX; step-children, Lela Burross of Wichita Falls, TX and Bryan Peyton Hutchison and wife Carolyn of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Chase, Taylor, Blake, Jamie, Jennifer and Jessica great-grandchildren, Alisha, Shane, Jack, Haley, Rayden and Kayslee; 3 special nieces, Billie Calender, Jacquelyn Smith and Janice Hillsberry; brother-in-law, Jack Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Patsy Marie Roberts and Mary Louise Nichols.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital at LOVESHRINERS.ORG.
A visitation will be held at 6-8 PM on Monday, January 7, 2019, at Goggans Funeral Home Chapel.
A private, graveside service to be held at a later date.
