Jeanne Otto

Jeanne Marie Otto, 84, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her home in Terrell, Texas. Jeanne was born on September 21, 1929 to Walter and Ruth McLean in Battle Creek, Michigan. Jeanne attended Western Michigan University. She met and later married Lyle Otto in Battle Creek in 1949. To this union were born four sons; Matthew, Walter, Barry and Michael. Jeanne was a devoted mother and wife. She spent her life creating and maintaining a warm and loving home for her husband and sons. Jeanne worked occasionally outside the home; but her true passion was her love for her husband and her boys. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruth; her beloved husband, Lyle; one son, Matthew and her brother Jimmy McLean. Those left to celebrate her life include her sons, Walter Otto and his wife Denise, Barry Otto and Michael Otto and his wife Helen; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; numerous extended family, friends and neighbors. She will truly be missed. A Celebration of Jeannes Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2 013 at 2:00 p.m. at Goggans Funeral Home in our Chapel.
