Isabel Wigzell

Isabel "Liz" Wigzell, 77; passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Kaufman, Texas. "Liz" was born on January 13, 1937 to Cayetano and Ana Maria Huerta in El Paso, Texas. She would meet and later marry Lee W. Wigzell in August, 1959 in El Paso, Texas. Lee would remain the love of her life. Liz served for many years as a Social Worker at Terrell State Hospital, where Lee also worked as a pharmacist. Liz loved people. Her smile, open heart and servant's spirit made her a joy to be around. She loved serving others and will truly be missed. Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Cayetano and Ana Maria Huerta. Those left to celebrate Liz's life include Lee Wigzell, her husband and companion of 54 years; daughters, Nancy Bardin and her husband Ronnie, Elizabeth Ann Wigzell; granddaughter, Brandy Michelle Lindsey; sister, Lupe Martin and her husband George; as well numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A rosary service will be held that same evening at 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
