Inace Howie

June 26, 1932 — May 28, 2012

Inace Admire Bozeman Howie, passed away on Monday, May 29th at her longtime home in Terrell, surrounded by four generations of family. Inace was born June 26, 1932 in Van, to Jesse Edward Admire and Audra Ilene Johnson. Raised during the harsher times of the post-Depression era, Inace and her adored big sister, Audra, learned from their mother that no matter a persons situation, they could always be well mannered, well dressed and well behaved and even with unexpected adversity, you could live life with grace. In 1933, the family moved to Terrell where a young circle of friends grew to become the Forever Friends, girls with whom she remained close for over sixty-five years. A young bride, Inace married her high school sweetheart, Jack Bozeman in 1948. By 1953, the family had grown to five with the addition of three daughters, Lynne, Peggy and Debbiethe Bozeman girls, as they were known to most. Widowed at 37, Inace began her long career at the American National Bank, retiring in 1997 as an Administrative Bank Officer. Her lifelong dream that her daughters have a college education was fulfilled and followed by their subsequent careers as teacher, author and entrepreneur. In 1975 she began a new phase in her life when she married Jed Howie, a familiar name in Terrell and the College Mound community. They were happily married for 24 years and he was Papa to the six grandchildren. Inaces life was full of friendship and family and laughter and love. Her greatest joys were her three daughters, their husbands and their children who loved their Inie. She is survived by daughter, Lynne Bozeman Crews, husband Charlie of Boerne, TX, their children and spouses, Cara (Cory) McAnelly of Leander, TX, Clint (Staci) Crews of Denver, CO, and Cassie (Justin) Ryland of Keller, TX; daughter, Peggy Bozeman Morse, husband Frederick of Killeen TX, their children, Paige Morse of Dallas, Hilary (Paul) Badics of Hutto, TX and Jess Morse (Heather Carmichael) and due-in-September, Baby Lily of Austin, TX; daughter, Debbie Bozeman Zook, husband Bill of Dallas, TX and step-children, Aaron and Sean Zook of Dallas, TX and Justin Zook of Austin, TX; great grandchildren, Charley and Cooper McAnelly, Hudson and Jacob Ryland, and sister, Audra Hogan of Terrell, TX and numerous cherished family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Jack Bozeman and Jed Howie and daughter Jenny Beth. Inace will be remembered for her quiet dignity, her soft heart and her devotion to family and friends.
