In loving memory of Helen Taylor Carter, a devoted soul whose kindness and care touched the hearts of many. Helen, born in Henderson, Texas on September 25th, 1936, embraced a life filled with compassion and generosity that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Throughout her career in home health, Helen's nurturing spirit shone brightly as she took people to the store, whipped up delicious pies, and dedicated her time to working in the church kitchen. Her warm personality made every interaction a special one, leaving a lasting impact on all she met.

Helen will be fondly remembered for the meaningful long talks she shared and the joy of surprise visits that always brightened the day. Her love for working in the yard and passion for cooking reflected her creative soul and brought happiness to those around her.

A beloved mother to Novalle Barron and Norman Garrett, Helen leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion with her grandchildren Anjanett, Yolanda, Quoshun, Talina, Tameshia, Tamara, Felica, Okema, Shilita along with Twenty One great grandchildren, and Nine great great grandchildren. Helen’s forever loved friends Vivian Ross, Rosetta Neros, Marcus Holmes, and Annie Mae Rattler.  While we grieve her loss, we find solace in the memories we hold dear and the lessons she imparted during her time with us.
