Helen Ashby, 62, of Terrell passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 in Rockwall. Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00am Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Victory Baptist Church in Terrell. Arrangements are under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home.
Helen was born November 3, 1953 in Terrell to Earl Monroe Toland and Ernestine Lesterjette Toland. She worked in the Dietician department for a nursing home, but enjoyed making a loving and safe home for her family. She will be remembered for her loving smile and her spirited personality.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Robert Ashby and wife Kelly of Terrell, and Doug Ashby of Terrell; daughter Michelle Fuller and husband Josh; grandchildren Tanor Ashby, Brittany Ashby and Dominic Fuller; sister Leola Smith and husband Harmon of Terrell; brother John Toland and wife Toni of Decatur, IL; other extended family members and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eddie Ashby, son Rusty Ashby, brothers Roger Toland and Ernest Toland, and sister Wanda Wade.
