Gregory Sanders

Gregory Dale Sanders, Sr., 46, of Terrell, passed away May 14, 2011 in Irving after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 22, 1964 in Terrell, the son of ODell and Barbara Jean (Wilson) Sanders. He married Debra Tapley and he was an electrician. He is survived by his wife Debra Sanders of Mesquite; his mother, Jean Crow of Terrell; daughter, Laura Cretti of Ohio; son, Gregory Dale Sanders, Jr. of Mesquite; his step children, Doug White of Garland, Kristie Ashby of Dallas, Carolyn Ashby of Royse City; six grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry David Sanders of Terrell, Odell Sanders, Jr. of Forney, and Jeffrey Sanders and his wife Sandra of Waxahachie; sister, Virginia Sanders of Terrell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Greg is preceded in his death by his father, O'Dell Sanders; brother, Steven Sanders; and daughter, Emma Lee Sanders. A graveside service for Greg will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Campground Cemetery with Brother David Hammond officiating. The family requests that memorials be made in memory of Greg to the American Cancer Society. His arrangements were made under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell
