Gregory Len Martin

Gregory Len Martin, a devoted family man and hardworking construction contractor, passed away on December 6, 2023 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. Born on September 24, 1963, in Dallas, TX, Gregory's life was filled with joy and accomplishments.

Gregory led a fulfilling career as a construction contractor. With his expertise and dedication, he left an indelible mark on numerous projects throughout his lifetime. His commitment to quality and attention to detail were evident in every structure he worked on making him well-respected within the industry.

Outside of work, Gregory had a number of hobbies and interests that brought him immense happiness. He could often be found playing Xbox games with friends or indulging in his love for racing. A passionate angler, Gregory also treasured his time spent fishing, finding solace in the peacefulness of the open water. Additionally, he had an undeniable affection for Mexican cuisine which would often lead him to savoring delicious meals with loved ones.

Gregory will be dearly missed by his surviving family members and friends who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his wife Genie Martin; his sister Renee Holland and her husband Tim; his son Travis Bettega; his step-sons Steven Ballentine, Jacob Merrick, and Brenten Merrick; as well as his niece Nicole Sprayberry and nephew Robert Matkin.

Gregory's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His warm smile, compassionate nature, and unwavering dedication to his family will continue to inspire all who knew him. His legacy as a beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and friend will be cherished forever.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Gregory's life will take place on December 11th at Restoration Life Church in Terrell (620 CR 237-B Terrell TX 75160) from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The ceremony will be a time for all who loved Gregory to come together, share memories, and find solace in each other's presence.

During this time of mourning, let us remember the joy and happiness that Gregory brought into our lives. May his spirit live on, and may we find comfort in the beautiful memories we shared with him. As we say our farewells, let us honor his life by embracing the values he held dear; love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends.
