George C. Akeley, 72, of Terrell passed away on January 1, 2018 in Forney. George was born in Presque Isle, ME to his parents, Clifton George Akeley and Amy M. (Lint) Akeley. He worked most of his life on the family farm. He was known by his family nickname "Bim."
George is preceded in his death by his parents, Clifton and Amy Akeley; and a brother, Johnny Akeley.
His family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his five sisters, Judith Bonville, Patricia Nava, Linda Carson and her husband Red, Eugenia Akeley, and Susan Larson and her husband Barney; one brother, Quentin Akeley and his wife Leona; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
No public service is planned at this time.
