Eva Ruth Towns

Eva Ruth Towns, age 94, was born on March 31, 1932, to Lula Ellis and Elick Kelley in Louisiana. Eva passed away Augst 24, 2026, in De Soto, Texas.

Eva was known as a caretaker to many generations of her family. When she wasn’t caring for others, she enjoyed fishing and cooking her famous greens and cornbread.

Eva is survived by her granddaughter, Jacqueline Knox; great-grandchildren, Sariyah, King, and Queen Knox; and multiple cousins. Eva was predeceased in death by her daughter, Linda Knox; her husband, George Towns; and her parents, Lula and Elick.
