Elizabeth Boyd

Elizabeth Ann Boyd, 68, passed away on December 26, 2012 in Terrell, Texas. Elizabeth was born April 26, 1944 to Marvin and Alice (Hicks) Hailey in Kaufman County. She met and later married Leo Boyd on March 2, 1965 in Kaufman. To this union were born three children, Patricia, Jerry, Ricky, and half sister Cassandra Williams. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Boyd; her mother, Alice Hailey; sister, Alice McRoy; infant brother, Charles Hailey; three grandchildren, infant Valeri Aslin, Jennifer Marie Boyd and Stephanie Ann Boyd; and one infant great grandchild, Robert Aslin, Jr. Those left to celebrate her life include her father, Marvin Hailey, Sr.; her children, Patricia Aslin, Jerry Boyd, Ricky Boyd, and Cassandra Williams Howard and her husband Chris; nine brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Goggans Funeral Home. A funeral service will be immediately following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Eugene Williams and Brother Jason Emmons officiating. Burial will be at Morrow Chapel Cemetery in Ola.
