Claude Sawyer

Claude Wiley Pee-Paw Sawyer, 72 passed away at his home in Terrell on Monday, July 9, 2012. Pee-Paw was born in Houston Texas on December 5, 1939 to Max and Aline Sawyer. He married Mary Roberts on July 17, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. Claude is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Aline and his brother Marvin Barnett. Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Mary; his son Lynn Haley; his daughter Susie Campbell and her husband Paul; sisters, Maxine McBee, June Jackson and Janice Keller; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as many friends and neighbors. He will truly be missed. A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Goggans Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, July 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
