Cecil Croxton

Cecil Adele Croxton, 94; passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Waxahachie, Texas. Ms. Cecil was born October 18, 1919 in Kaufman County, Texas. Ms Cecil met and later married Roddy A. Croxton, Sr. To this union were born two sons, Robert and Roddy, Jr. Ms Cecil was a homemaker and mother. She spent her time creating and maintaining a safe and loving home for her husband and sons. She loved family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her warm smile, open heart and giving spirit will truly be missed. Ms Cecil is preceded in death by her husband, Roddy Sr., son Robert Croxton; grandson Adam Croxton; great-grandson, Christopher Croxton; brothers, Leonard, Vernon and Billy and sister Ruthie. Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Roddy Croxton, Jr. and his wife Mila; grandchildren, Bryan Croxton, Deborah Robertson and Jamie Croxton; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Jennifer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will immediately follow the service at Lawrence Cemetery.
